Jeff Baker's primary research interest is IT investment and strategy, with an emphasis on IT business value, strategic alignment, and strategies in electronic commerce. His research has appeared in the Journal of the AIS, the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, and other leading journals. Before beginning work on his PhD, Dr. Baker conducted a software licensing audit for a regional affiliate of Sprint PCS, a major US telecommunications firm, to ensure their compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. He teaches courses on Business Analytics, Financial Technology ("Fintech"), Mobile Application Development, Telecommunications Networks, Project Management, and Databases.
